Calling all homeschoolers! Sign your homeschooled teenager up for our Nutrition for Healthy Living 12-week course starting September 2024!
Students enrolled in this course will gain the tools necessary to build better health. They will gain an understanding of basic nutrition, as well as human anatomy and physiology. They will explore the major systems of the body, learn about food in regards to protein, carbohydrates, and fats, become equipped on how to build a balanced nutritious meal and learn the specific nutritional requirements of the body and how to feed it properly.

Blood Sugar Class
Thanks to everyone who joined us at the Blood Sugar Class this past Monday! We had such a blast as usual.
The attendees learned about Diabetes, handling blood sugar, the dangers of blood sugar spikes & crashes, bloodwork markers, belly fat & Diabetes, and supplementation.
The group tasted some healthy cookies. 🍪🍪 Then we all drank a liquid herb called Gymnema. 🌿 Shortly after the Gymnema, we all tasted the cookie again and the sweet receptors on our tongues couldn’t taste the sweetness AT ALL. We all threw the rest of our cookies away! ☹️
One attendee joked that it was the first cookie he had ever thrown away in his entire life. 😆
Don’t worry, our sweet receptors started working again a few hours later! But what a way to help you avoid the treats, if that is your goal? Gymnema helps the body balance blood sugar as well!
